I was asked to be apart of a Final Friday here in Wichita...The show is known as the Bomb Shelter.
I was told I could have 3 or 4 images, well i stressed over which ones to order, then I got down to 15,
so I ordered the 15 ... ... then I stressed for almost 24 hours over whcih to actually hang in the show.
So I finally had it down to five...so I took all five but no one was at the Coffee House (R Coffee House
1142 N. Bitting Wichita Ks) that the show was happening at...so I left all 5, expecting to take 1 or 2
back home later that night. Well, they hung all 5, I was ecstatic.
The show was a huge success... ... so successful that there was not enough room to walk around for a lot
of the evening....people came in the north door came walk through and out the south door, but some tried
walking against the machine...but it just did not work. All the tables, booths and chairs were occupied for the
whole night by paying customers. The Coffee House sold a ton of bar b que smoked pulled pork sandwiches
and gallons of coffee and tea.
Well the work will be up until about Christmas... I have 5 16x24 Metal Prints, that is right, METAL PRINTS.
The images are printed directly onto aluminum that has been coated with a white substrate....Man do they POP.
